Job description

You will be responsible for building responsive, maintainable, and user-centric interfaces for our internal platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with backend developers, data scientists, and business users to design and implement features that are not only functional but also intuitive and pleasant to use.
You’ll be a key advocate for user experience, ensuring that data-heavy tools are easy to navigate, visually coherent, and aligned with real operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, interactive UIs for internal platforms and tools.
• Translate user requirements and complex workflows into clear, usable interfaces.
• Work closely with backend and data teams to integrate APIs and ensure seamless
  user experiences.
• Maintain and evolve design systems and UI consistency across products.
• Conduct user feedback sessions, usability testing, and interface iterations.
• Ensure accessibility, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Write clean, modular, and testable frontend code.
• Contribute to interface documentation and frontend standards

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of professional experience in frontend development or related roles.
• Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks: React (preferred), Vue.js, Angular, or similar.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Proven experience in user interface design and user experience thinking.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating backend services.
• Comfortable working in component-based architectures and using design systems.
• Experience with responsive design, form validation, and interactive UIs.
• Version control with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with Figma, Sketch, or other design/prototyping tools.
• Adaptability and a collaborative mindset — in a small team, we value curiosity, versatility, and a willingness to step outside one’s comfort zone to take on challenges and support teammates, even beyond the formal job scope.

Nice to Have

• Experience working on internal tools, dashboards, or data-heavy UIs.
• Understanding of data visualization libraries (e.g. D3.js, Chart.js, Plotly).
• Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress).
• Basic knowledge of UX research methodologies.
• Previous experience in maritime, trading, logistics, or other data-intensive sectors.
• Knowledge of Docker is a plus.
