 Responsibilities

Planning & Design Test:
o Develop, document, and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases,
and testing strategies.
o Designing of the User acceptance Test (UAT) document
o Understanding and test execution of the UAT with Business
o Identification and Test data preparation for the designed test cases
o Collaborate with product managers, developers, Scrum master and
stakeholders to understand requirements and create test cases and test data.
o Understating UI/UX, responsive designed browser debugging testing and
report it to development team.

Execution of Tests:
o Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for web,
mobile, and applications.
o Conduct manual testing and run the automated test scripts to ensure robust
coverage.
o Identify and document test cases for new and existing functionalities.

Automation & Tools:
o Run the automated test scripts and analyze the test result using tools like
Selenium coded in Java
o API testing and identification of issues via API testing

Defect Management:
o Identify, log, and track software defects using tools JIRA.
o Work closely with the development team to ensure prompt resolution of bugs
and issues.

Mentorship & Collaboration:
o Mentor junior QA engineers, providing guidance and support to enhance their
skills.
o Act as a liaison between the QA team and other departments to promote
quality standards.

Process Improvement:
o Provide the input to improve QA methodologies to align with industry best
practices as product development progress.
o Monitor and report on test coverage, defects, and overall QA metrics.

Qualifications and Skills

Required:
o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, software Engineering, IT or related field.
o 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on both manual
and automated testing.
o Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
o Understanding of the Programming languages like Java, for test automation
understanding.
o Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium with Java
o Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred:
o ISTQB or equivalent QA certification advance level.
o Experience working in Agile- Scrum/Safe environments.
o Understanding of Fleet/Iot systems
